Phillip Nicholas is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of BackOfficeVets, where he leads Accounting and Bookkeeping Services, and develops operational strategies to drive efficiency and business growth. He has over 15 years of experience as an accountant and professor of accounting and QuickBooks at Maharishi International University.
Phillip has led accounting and finance teams at L3 Technology, Austal USA, and Martin Energy Services, focusing on financial metrics, process optimization, and profitability. He also served as a communications specialist for the United States Navy.
Phillip holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of South Alabama and an MBA from Maharishi University of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant registered with the Georgia State Board of Accountancy and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Lesley Nicholas is Co-Founder and Partner at BackOfficeVets, where she leads Payroll Services. She has over 20 years of experience in military service and commercial industries leading payroll management and human resources functions.
Lesley excels in managing complex payroll operations, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and streamlining HR processes. She has extensive experience across the financial services, manufacturing, and logistics industries. In the military, she managed personnel records, supported unit commanders with administrative functions, and ensured secure and reliable communications by maintaining network systems.
Lesley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Faulkner University. She was awarded the Army National Guard Soldier of the Year Award for her outstanding service.
